| Description | The company Sevene was born from the meeting of a group of men and women in the pursuit of a common goal: to develop products from medicinal plants and herbs, which would be grown in conditions specifically orchestrated to preserve the life-force essential to their efficiency. After carefully studying the herbs and analysing their specific needs, we retained 24 varieties for cultivation at the Domaine de Mazet: Acacia, Angelica, Basil, Black currant, Bramble leaf, Cornflower, Elder, Green mint, Heather, Lemon verbena, Linden, Mallow, Meadowsweet, Melissa, Oregano, Peppermint, Red Vine, Roman camomile, Rosehip, Rosemary, Sage, Sweet fennel, Thyme and White nettle. Preparation and packaging herbs : preserving quality Once out of the drying room, the herbs are sorted by batches into brown paper bags. Each batch is then treated, at low temperature and for a minimum time, in order to eliminate any development of insects or mould. The bags are then stored away from the light in a store-room fitted with a temperature and humidity monitoring system to ensure that the herbs remain dry. No treatment by ionisation or any other physico-chemical process is used to facilitate the conservation of our stocks. |
